Free SEO Tools

Don't go running out and try to optimize a keyword that has 2 billion visitors a month. You being new cannot compete with the SEO marketing experts. Lower volume keywords can achieve good results.

Part Two (Keywords) ....Free Seo Tools to assist in keyword research

Tip: You should always double check your keyword research. Below are a few free tools to assist in gathering and checking any missing keyword phrases.

1. Download the program Goodkeywords which is a free Windows software for finding the perfect set of keywords for your web pages. Good Keywords is completely free. No registration.

2. Google Suggests is a great Free SEO TOOL that helps you with suggestions for keywords. As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you're typing and offers suggestions in real time. If you type in only part of a word, like "bass," Google Suggest might offer you refinements like "bass fishing" or "bass guitar." It also gives you the number of results that google has in the data-base for this term. (Known as the Supply)

3. Google Adwordkeyword (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
is a great Free Seo Tool that helps your research on longtail keywords.

Note: Having both the demand and supply on a keyword, you can use a formula known as "KEI" (Keyword Effectiveness Index) which helps you determine the more valued keywords. (Anything above .001 is good) Divide the supply into the demand will give you the KEI.

Eg. "Runescape Tips" Demand 13410 divided by Supply 322,000 = .041 a very good KEI.

Remember this is just an aid to help you determine the value of a keyword it is not accurate.
