2. Google Suggests is a great Free SEO TOOL that helps you with suggestions for keywords. As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you're typing and offers suggestions in real time. If you type in only part of a word, like "bass," Google Suggest might offer you refinements like "bass fishing" or "bass guitar." It also gives you the number of results that google has in the data-base for this term. (Known as the Supply)
3. Digital Point is a handy little Free SEO TOOL will show you the results of your query from both Wordtracker and Overture for determining which phrases are searched most often. ( Known as the Demand)
4. Homebizfactory is a Free SEO TOOL that gives you the results for the supply and the demand. This tool is a good place to look for niches that have more than 10,000 monthly searches.
Note: Having both the demand and supply on a keyword, you can use a formula known as "KEI" (Keyword Effectiveness Index) which helps you determine the more valued keywords. (Anything above .001 is good) Divide the supply into the demand will give you the KEI.
Remember this is just an aid to help you determine the value of a keyword it is not accurate.
